We recently spent some time with the Huawei team, out in Gauteng Johannesburg at the launch of their new innovative and affordable wearable. The new Huawei Band 6, is here to bring stir into the smart wearable market.
Offering a very competitive/affordable price of R1699 with many features, they are not very common for smart wearable of its price range.
The new Band 6 shows of sleek and attractive design with the traditional loop buckle strap, it feels soft and light (18g without strap) with a casual look, which could go well with almost any outfit. a claimed battery life of 2-week, water-resistance claimed to 5 atm. even cooler it features a full view 1.47” AMOLED display with 32 customizable home screen looks available via the Huawei Help App. which looks good and is quite impressive for an entry-level watch.
The Huawei Band 6 comes with 96 exercise modes with continuous SpO2 monitoring, which comes in handy for users who are always looking to stay in shape and knowing what kind of exercise or workout to tackle next.

The new Band 6 will be launching on 18th June, two stylish colours and designs will be available in South Africa (Black and secular pink). Consumers can already pre-order online. pre-orders will be available from the 11th of June.
