All powered by the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processor, the MateBook D14 does a very impressive job of handling day-to-day tasks. Also impressive is its ability to work on multimedia, further enhanced by its built-in Dolby surround sound and ATI Radeon Vega 8 graphics display. Though I didn’t too much gaming on the device, it’s clear to see that it offers some ability in this department too by its snappy overall performance.

A large, tactile back-lighten keyboard makes for a great way to input, type and edit on the laptop, while the clear and vibrant 14-inch 1920 x 1080P IPS display panel with its ultra-slim bezels make for a great visual experience.

All run by Microsoft Windows 10 out of the box and sold with Huawei’s 3-year warranty upon registration, it’s clear that what Huawei has put together with the new MateBook D14 is a device which is premium, feature-packed and a great companion priced from R13,499 *(256GB model).
