“Question: Apart from bigger screens, more camera’s and sharper edges what do you regard as important in a smartphone?”
“Answer: Often a feature which is crucial and overlooked is battery life!”
Welcome to the recently launched Huawei Y6P, an affordable smartphone which packs;
- 5000 mAh Battery
- Triple Camera Rear Layout
- 6.3″ Teardrop Notch Display
- 64 GB Internal Memory
- Cost’s less than R3,500
If you’re looking for an affordable smartphone which simply ticks many boxes, this is definitely a good place to begin looking. The Y6P is available in piano black or two vibrant other colours including an emerald style green and high gloss purple finish.
While the design is simple, the device packs dual-sim ability, a micro SD card expansion slot, Android 10 out of the box with Huawei’s MIUI version 10 and even has a 3.5mm headphone jack which I still like to see on a device.
All powered by a MediaTek MTK6 676 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of onboard memory, I found the device enjoyable to use, with satisfactory gaming and impressive camera performance, particularly at its price point.
If your budget is less than R3,500 (+- $150) it really is pretty tough to beat. To conclude the offer the device comes neatly packed with a simple white pair of earphones, a micro USB sync/charge cable and wall power adapter.
