At some point everything needs a bit of a refresher, while some brands call it a facelift, describing the older version as being somewhat tired, or perhaps ready to be retired, Hyundai prefers to call this a product enhancement within the lifecycle of their vehicles. This is certainly a more fitting term, particularly when it relates to the uber-chic, modern Hyundai Kona. We caught up with the team from Hyundai Southern Africa via a digital media launch earlier to find out more, watch the full thing embedded below.
If you skimmed through the key points of the presentation and product launch, I think you’ll agree that the latest update to the Kona model from Hyundai makes it look sharper and better than ever. Hyundai South Africa have also discussed the vehicles low maintenance burn rate (low maintenance cost of ownership), all backed by their industry-leading 7yr / 200,000km warranty plan.
Available in an array of bright vibrant colours, we think it looks great, what are your thoughts?
It’s also a feature-packed and practical compact crossover, offering-up the likes of full Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration within its large touchscreen display, but to name a few of its key elements.
So finally, we can’t wait to get behind the wheel and bring you our own comprehensive video review and tour of the new Hyundai Kona, but in the meantime, what will it cost you hear in Mzantsi in its two distinct trim levels?
