The slogan “Connecting People” is one which was made famous by Nokia, a cellular brand widely regarded as a pioneer of cutting edge mobile phone technology and design. I grew-up using many of the Scandanavian firms’ exciting models and was very eager to try out the new Nokia 2.3 particularly in this ever so crowded world of smartphone makers and models.
- 6.2″ HD+ display
- Dual 13MP+2MP rear camera
- 5MP Front-facing camera
- 32GB onboard memory
- MMC support up to 512 GB
- 4000 mAh 2 day Battery*
- 2 Year Warranty

- Cost +- R2,500 (available through major retailers)
Has Nokia still got what it takes?
In my opinion, absolutely. The firm is still building quality smartphones which enjoy the benefit of using the largest mobile OS (Android). The 2.3 packs a neat design, affordable price and most of a good range of features within the playing field of which it sits.
Though competition in the mobile world is fierce I really did enjoy the Nokia’s simplistic elegance, neat design, large battery and implementation of the uncluttered Android One OS for what culminates in an overall impressive package.
